Laparoscopic orchidopexy: Avoiding the parallax.

Cortesi and co-workers were generally credited for the first diagnostic Laparoscopy for the undescended testicle in 1976. They described the ability to visualize an impalpable testicle with the Laparoscope. Inserting a port or an instrument from the scrotum into the abdomen involves skill, patience, practice, and precise hand-eye coordination while monitoring the display screen to negotiate the parallax. A standard, conventional Laparoscopic Orchidopexy, with some technical modifications, is described here. The author has modified the railroad technique described earlier in 2015. This technique complements the conventional Laparoscopic procedure and offers a quick, safe, easy, and effective alternative approach.
