Аннотация
The need for closure after endoscopic mucosal resection depends on the location and technique of resection. Lesions treated with hot snare endoscopic resection generally require closure to decrease the risk of delayed bleeding. This is especially important in the duodenum and right colon. Through the scope, clips can be used to close most defects. For larger defects, specialized closure devices such as over the scope, clips and endoscopic suturing platforms can be employed for durable closure.
