Аннотация
Malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumours (MPNSTs) are rare, aggressive sarcomas. There are only a few reports of their occurrence in the mandible involving patients with a prior history of radiation therapy. This case report describes a mandibular MPNST occurring after subtotal resection and radiotherapy for a cerebellopontine angle region ganglioneuroma, highlighting the diagnostic considerations regarding secondary versus de-novo disease, and the importance of close clinical and radiologic follow-up in patients with high-risk ganglioneuroma, particularly after incomplete resection and radiotherapy.
