Moreover, DNA methylation offers substantial potential for diagnosing and treating CML. Accordingly, understanding the precise mechanism of DNA methylation, particularly abnormal changes in the methylation of specific genes in CML, can potentially promote the development of novel targeted therapeutic strategies. Such strategies could transform into clinical practice, effectively aiding diagnosis and treatment of CML patients.
