Аннотация

Despite decades of research, the primary initiation of "idiopathic" scoliosis remains debated. This study presents a perspective based on "asymmetrical pelvic correlation" as the fundamental mechanical trigger [1]. By shifting the diagnostic focus to the pelvic foundation, we propose a new paradigm in understanding the aetiopathogenesis of spinal curvatures. Based on 30 years of clinical observation (18,071 cases) and Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations, we demonstrate that early-stage scoliosis is a reversible biomechanical response to pelvic torsion.
