Аннотация

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE: The abdominal muscles, or core, serve as a critical stabilizer for the spine, mitigating excessive strain on the back, and are instrumental in rehabilitation for low back pain (LBP). This scoping review aims to explore the 'Tensile-Laplace nexus', a groundbreaking fundamental principle.

METHODS

Integrating the 'Tensile-Laplace nexus' with tensiometry, indentation-depth, the Laplace principle, and clinically validated palpation techniques presents a novel non-invasive approach to unraveling the complexities of LBP. Reimagining the way to think about it, in tandem with the 'Spinal-kinetic harmony' and force-sensing tensiometry, offers an abdominal wall tension (AWT) assessment and provides a more in-depth exploration of the core's force-generation-based contribution to LBP prevention and treatment.

RESULTS

Unveiling the core's secrets, a fresh and forward-thinking idea reveals insights into abdominal mechanics, including tensile properties, viscoelasticity, and internal pressure. The potential 'Tensile Laplace nexus' principle could paradigm shift LBP rehabilitation by enabling more accurate diagnosis, treatment plans, and improved patient outcomes.

CONCLUSION

The future of LBP research hinges on robust clinical validation of real-time, force-sensing tensiometry. A critical imperative is the refinement of palpation-based indentation-depth techniques, paving the way for precise and clinically meaningful quantification of abdominal wall tension in LBP patients.
