Аннотация

The treatment of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) remains a major challenge for global public health. The emergence of the novel anti-tuberculosis drugs Delamani and Putomani has offered new hope to patients with drug-resistant tuberculosis. Available evidence indicates that both drugs can cause prolongation the electrocardiographic QT interval. This article reviews the mechanisms of QT interval prolongation and the relevant clinical precautions associated with these two novel nitroimidazole anti-tuberculosis agents, both as monotherapy and in combination regimens, in order to provide a reference for the clinical use of Deramani and Putomani in the treatment of MDR-TB.
