[Oculoplastics and Orbital Surgery Section: Orbital Fractures].

Oculoplastics is a subspecialty of ophthalmology that focuses on a wide range of disorders affecting the orbit, lacrimal system, and eyelids. In this review, we examine orbital fractures with a focus on mechanisms of injury, clinical and radiologic evaluation, and surgical decision-making. We outline the common fracture patterns and their functional and aesthetic implications, discuss the criteria guiding conservative versus surgical management, and review contemporary surgical approaches along with recent technological advances in orbital reconstruction.
