Аннотация
BACKGROUND: Fractures of the femoral bone shaft during and after hip arthroplasty are a serious clinical problem.
CASE REPORT: The paper presents the use of rapid computer modeling FEM 2D to optimize the stabilization of femoral shaft fracture in case of hip revision arthroplasty.
CONCLUSIONS: Using the FEM modeling may be helpful for planning and assessment of orthopaedic treatment in similar cases.
