Аннотация
12 cases of serious complications of mandibular fractures in 16 vagrant alcohol-dependent patients are described. Psycho-social and metabolic factors contributed to the high frequency of infections, including osteomyelitis. The severe difficulties encountered in the treatment of patients with mandibular fractures and alcoholism are discussed.
