A Case Report of Giant Congenital Melanocytic Nevus Complicated by Minimal Change Disease, With Genetic Analysis.
Аннотация
This case describes a 39-year-old woman with congenital giant melanocytic nevus (GCMN) who developed new-onset nephrotic syndrome. Clinical evaluation revealed minimal change disease (MCD) confirmed by renal biopsy, with podocyte effacement on electron microscopy. Genetic testing identified four variants of uncertain significance, with no known pathogenic mutations. Treatment with corticosteroids, losartan, and low-molecular-weight heparin led to remission, and no relapse occurred after one year. The GCMN remained unchanged. This rare co-occurrence highlights the need to consider systemic associations in complex cases and suggests possible molecular links between dermatological and renal disorders requiring further investigation.
