Аннотация
Meckel's diverticulum, a congenital remnant of the vitellointestinal duct, is present in approximately 2% of the population and is usually asymptomatic. Intestinal obstruction is an uncommon but significant complication in adults. This report presents a rare case of acute small bowel obstruction caused by Meckel's diverticulum with an associated fibrous band, emphasizing the diagnostic challenges and the importance of timely surgical management.
