Treatment of a 4-Part Proximal Humeral Fracture with a Concomitant Glenoid Fracture in an Elderly Patient: A Case Report.
Аннотация
CASE: Reported here is a single case of a highly comminuted fracture of the proximal aspect of the humerus with substantial humeral head displacement and a concomitant glenoid fracture encompassing >20% of the glenoid width. The fractures were treated simultaneously with reverse total shoulder arthroplasty and open reduction and internal fixation, respectively.
CONCLUSION
The 1-year follow-up demonstrated excellent pain control and a good functional outcome, with no signs of instability or implant complications.
