Аннотация
Herein, an efficient strategy for synthesizing novel cyclic hypervalent iodine(III) reagents (HIRs), featuring a transferable bis-sulfonimido group, has been developed. Based on a sulfonamide skeleton, these reagents are air- and moisture-stable, allowing for easy handling. Further studies have demonstrated that these reagents enable the direct C-H bond amination of diverse heteroaromatic compounds. Mechanistic studies suggest that the reaction proceeds via a radical pathway. This work advances research on cyclic HIRs and provides a practical strategy for the synthesis of valuable nitrogen-containing heteroaromatic compounds.
