Аннотация
The development of chiral luminescent materials into functional single-crystal devices is critical for advancing polarization-sensitive optoelectronics. Herein, we report a zero-dimensional chiral indium halide hybrid, [ACPP]4InBr7 (ACPP = protonated 1-amino-4-cyclopentylpiperazine), synthesized via slow cooling crystallization. The compound crystallizes in the chiral tetragonal space group I4 and exhibits broadband white-light emission together with pronounced chiroptical activity, as evidenced by bisignate CPL signals with dissymmetry factor values of +0.022 and -0.012. Importantly, a single-crystal photodetector fabricated from [ACPP]4InBr7 displays a clear polarization-dependent photoresponse with a figure-eight polar pattern, confirming its capability for detecting polarized light. The devices also demonstrate excellent operational stability, maintaining consistent anisotropic photocurrent output during repeated light on/off switching cycles. These results not only highlight [ACPP]4InBr7 as a multifunctional chiral halide hybrid but also establish its promise for practical applications in stable polarization-sensitive photodetection and chiroptoelectronic devices.
