Аннотация
Photocatalysis offers a sustainable pathway for solar energy conversion and environmental remediation; however, the development of efficient photocatalysts remains a fundamental challenge. Zinc-indium-sulfide (Zn-In-S) ternary compounds have emerged as promising candidates due to their visible-light responsiveness, tunable bandgaps, and excellent physicochemical stability. Among these, Zn3In2S6 has attracted significant attention, with extensive research dedicated to exploring its properties, modifications, optimization strategies, and diverse applications as a photocatalyst. This review comprehensively examines the developments of Zn3In2S6-based photocatalysts for photosynthesis, environmental and energy applications. We outline the fundamental characteristics of Zn3In2S6, followed by a detailed analysis of strategies to enhance its photocatalytic activity. The applications of Zn3In2S6-based materials in hydrogen evolution, CO2 reduction, pollutant degradation, H2O2 generation, and selective organic transformations are then summarized. Finally, the review discusses current challenges and emerging opportunities in advancing Zn3In2S6-based photocatalysts. By consolidating recent progress and identifying future research directions, this review aims to inspire further advancements in Zn3In2S6-based materials for solar energy conversion and environmental applications.
