Three-dimensional integrated fiber Bragg grating accelerometer utilizing resin matrix composites.
Аннотация
This study aims to develop a three-dimensional fiber Bragg grating (FBG) accelerometer fabricated from non-metallic materials, thereby rendering it suitable for application in high-voltage or strong electromagnetic field environments. An integral inertial mass block, incorporating two types of flexible hinges fabricated from high-strength resin matrix composites, was designed. Theoretical analyses and optimization procedures were employed to identify the optimal geometric parameters. Finite-element method simulations and experimental evaluations indicate that the operational frequency range extends from 10 to 70 Hz. The sensitivities of the accelerometer along the x, y, and z axes were measured as 65.92, 122.53, and 61.45 pm/g, respectively. The sensor demonstrates excellent linearity and load capacity in its acceleration response.
