Аннотация
Dental fluorosis, a developmental condition that affects amelogenesis, may present in various forms depending on the concentration and timing of fluoride ingested during enamel formation. In this article, the present authors discuss the case of a patient who presented with fluorosis, gingival asymmetry, and malocclusion, including a lingually positioned maxillary left canine (tooth 23) and inadequate exposure of the coronal aspect of the maxillary premolars. The interdisciplinary treatment plan included accelerated orthodontics, crown lengthening, and porcelain veneers. The first step was a corticotomy, which facilitated the movement of tooth 23 into its proper position before any restorative procedures were carried out. Surgical crown lengthening was then performed to enhance the exposure of the clinical crowns of the maxillary premolars. The restorative phase included the application of feldspathic porcelain veneers only on the labial surfaces of all the teeth being restored, as the occlusion remained unchanged.
