[Investigation on the status of high-risk enterprises for occupational brucellosis in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region].
Аннотация
Objective
To understand the basic information and protective measures of high-risk enterprises with occupational brucellosis, and to provide scientific basis for the intervention and prevention of brucellosis among the occupational population.
Methods
In May 2024, a census-based survey was conducted among 958 enterprises engaged in animal husbandry, livestock slaughtering, meat processing, dairy product manufacturing, and biological product manufacturing across the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. A self-designed structured questionnaire was used to collect information on the enterprises' basic profiles, occupational disease prevention and control management systems, occupational health training, occupational health examinations, and protective measures. Descriptive statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 26.0.
Results
The 958 surveyed enterprises were distributed as follows: 157 in Bayannur City (accounting for 16.39%), 146 in Hohhot City (accounting for 15.24%), and 99 in Chifeng City (accounting for 10.33%). The primary industries were animal husbandry (387 enterprises, accounting for 40.40%) and livestock product processing (321 enterprises, accounting for 33.51%) .The economic types and enterprise scales were mainly private enterprises (771 enterprises, accounting for 80.48%) and small/micro enterprises (847 enterprises, accounting for 88.41%). The average annual investment in occupational disease prevention and control by these enterprises was 360100 yuan. 68.89% (660/958) of the enterprises clearly informed about the hazards of brucellosis in their labor contracts. 64.82% (621/958) of the enterprises regularly organized occupational health examinations, and 96.35% (923/958) of the enterprises equipped brucellosis protection facilities. Only 69.52% (666/958) of the enterprises formulated occupational disease prevention and control management systems. A total of 36404 workers were involved. The proportion of workers with a junior high school education or below was 49.12% (17882/36404), and the average weekly working hours were 49 hours. 89.02% (32408 people) of the workers signed labor contracts.
Conclusion
In the high-incidence industries of occupational brucellosis in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, there exist problems such as small enterprise scale and weak management of occupational disease prevention and control. It is imperative to strengthen supervision and management of small private enterprises, enhance occupational health training and the provision of protective facilities, and reduce the risk of occupational transmission of brucellosis.
