Аннотация
CLINICAL CASE: We report of a 25 year old woman who presented with acute dysuria. She had a normal vaginal delivery three months earlier. She developed increasing ascites and laboratory findings were indicative for acute renal failure.
DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPY: An explorative laparotomy revealed a tiny leak of the urinary bladder that was sutured.
CONCLUSION: Spontaneous intraperitoneal bladder rupture is rare and clinically present as ascites and acute renal failure. The evaluation of the cause for atraumatic bladder ruptures may be challenging.
