Аннотация
Acute lung injury (ALI) is a disease with high morbidity and mortality caused by multiple heterogeneous aetiological factors. Neutrophils play an important role in the development and progression of ALI. Neutrophil metabolic reprogramming, including sugars, pentose phosphates, lipids, amino acids and others, is thought to be involved in the regulation of neutrophil functions such as chemotaxis, phagocytosis and bacteriostasis. These functions contribute to inflammatory activation in ALI, and excessive inflammation may further exacerbate lung injury. Previous studies have focused on neutrophil glycolytic reprogramming, and few studies have summarized the role of neutrophil lipid metabolic reprogramming in ALI. In this study, we review the process of neutrophil lipid metabolic reprogramming, its effect of lipid metabolic reprogramming on neutrophil function, and its role in ALI, to provide ideas for future related studies.
