Octahedral alloyed PtCu-BTC for photothermal synergistic enhanced photo-Fenton degradation of organic dye contaminant.
Аннотация
In this paper, octahedral alloyed PtCu-BTC (PtCu-Copper Benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylate) nanostructure is presented, it was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and other analytical methods. The nanostructures were cleverly characterized by using Cu-BTC as a metal-organic framework (MOF), and the framework was then effectively modified by reducing platinum (Pt). This nanostructure not only significantly reduces the electron-hole complexation rate, but also the Pt modification endows the nanomaterials with excellent photothermal properties, and the two effects synergize with each other to greatly accelerate the dye degradation process. Rhodamine B (RhB) degradation experiments show that the low concentration of PtCu-BTC is highly effective in degrading dyes over a wide pH range. The degradation efficiency for reach up to could reach over 99 % in a 2h treatment procedure by using the photo-electro Fenton catalyst. (1.0 mg mL-1 of RhB, pH at 7.0) In addition, the structure is not only in line with the concept of environmental sustainability, but also a practical multiphase catalytic system from the economic point of view. This innovation provides a novel and effective method for environmental remediation and dye degradation, and is expected to contribute significantly to environmental protection.
