Аннотация
We present a sustainable and safe method for synthesizing aromatic ketones and biphenyls using quartz sand as a green medium. Quartz sand replaces traditional solvents, providing a safer, eco-friendly alternative in Suzuki-Miyaura coupling and decarbonylative coupling reactions. The Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions occur under mild, solvent-free conditions with efficient synthesis and easy purification. Both quartz sand and catalyst are reusable, highlighting the method's resource efficiency and environmental sustainability. Biphenyls are produced via ligand- and copper salt-assisted decarbonylative coupling.
