Primary total knee arthroplasty is a highly effective treatment. The selection of patients to perform arthroplasty is essential. The steps to the radiological evaluation of the pre-surgical knees will be the key to the success of the implant. After surgery, it is mandatory to search the causes for symptomatic and failed arthroplasty for effective and timely revision. The main complications like infection, aseptic loosening, instability, and anterior pain should be known.
