Phenothiazines belong to the oldest group of neuroleptic drugs. These compounds exhibit neuroleptic, antipsychotic and sedative properties. Recently, syntheses and promising biological activities of new phenothiazine derivatives have been reported. This review surveys the research on the anticancer phenothiazine derivatives.
