Аннотация
UNLABELLED: Although peripheral nerve injury may result from fractures involving the long bones, bony entrapment of peripheral nerves is infrequently encountered. This report demonstrates a rare case of superficial peroneal nerve entrapment between 2 fracture ends of the distal fibula following a closed ankle fracture resulting from a supination-external rotation mechanism.
