Аннотация
Viral infections are common in pregnancy and are major drivers of maternal and fetal/neonatal morbidity and mortality. Clinical manifestations vary depending on the viral agent, gestational age at exposure, maternal comorbidities, and the availability and efficacy of antiviral therapy. This article focuses on the management of human immunodeficiency virus and viral hepatitis in pregnancy. Despite advances in the field, gaps in knowledge remain, and ongoing research into antiviral therapies and immunizations aim to improve outcomes for pregnant individuals and their infants.
