In summary, at least for now, my belief is that lipo-suction surgery will be used only by a few dermatologists, and those are ones who are already performing several different office cosmetic procedures. This procedure is a valid one, and with time, the indications and techniques will be clarified. There is no doubt that this is an excellent help for face lift surgery, the submental region, the saddle bag deformities, and certain fatty deposits that are not responsive to weight reduction. In addition, some giant lipomata and male gynecomastia will probably be treated better by this method in that the resulting scar will be much smaller.
