[Use of normobaric hypoxic training in obstetrics].

Literature data and own investigations allowed the authors to make a conclusion on positive therapeutic effect of normobaric interval hypoxic training (NBIHT) in patients with hypoxia-induced diseases. Comparison of pregnancy in females at high risk of gestosis who underwent NBIHT in the second and third trimester versus those who were treated conventionally showed more successful delivery, less frequent occurrence of nephropathy, fetal hypoxia, premature labor, better physical condition of newborns in the group of NBIHT gravidas.
