Аннотация
BACKGROUND: Dermal filler injections are being increasingly used as a non-surgical option for facial cosmetic procedures. However, their use has been implicated in multiple adverse events including immediate, early onset, and late onset complications.
AIM: We present a case of dermal filler-induced foreign body reaction presenting as bilateral parotid lesions and diagnosed using fine needle aspiration.
CONCLUSION: This case elucidate the risk of delayed adverse events in patients with dermal filler injections and stresses the importance of awareness by patients and providers for such events.
