Case Scenario: Clematis, a staff nurse in an orthopaedic ward, injured her back when lifting a patient with another nurse from the bed to a wheelchair. She was admitted to hospital and was off sick for many weeks. When she returned to work she noticed that the accident from which she had completed was still on the ward and copies did not appear to have been circulated. What is the law and what is her responsibility?
