Аннотация
High-entropy (HE) lithium-rich cathodes (LRCs), characterized by entropy stabilization effect, structural adaptability, and composition tunability, have emerged as promising candidates for next-generation high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries. However, their fundamental design principles, entropy-driven mechanisms, and structure-performance relationships remain poorly understood, limiting their rational development. This review provides a timely update on the recent progress of HE LRCs, offering an overview of the entropy concept and HE effect, alongside a comprehensive summary of their crystal structures, compositions, and properties. Additionally, it summarizes emerging design strategies, including multi-element doping and entropy-assisted surface engineering, and highlights the growing role of machine learning in accelerating the design of HE LRCs. Finally, the challenges and future development trends of HE LRCs are discussed, emphasizing the need for precise control of local chemical environments and deeper mechanistic insights. This review aims to establish entropy engineering as a general paradigm for designing LRCs and to guide the development of next-generation energy storage systems.
