Аннотация
Catalytic peroxide oxidation (CPO) is an effective technique for treating toxic and highly concentrated organic pollutants, and it has been widely applied in the field of wastewater treatment. By sequentially adsorbing copper ions and then ammonia onto a CH90 chelating resin, a copper-ammonia modified resin (CH90-Cu(NH3)x) was successfully synthesized. Unexpectedly, the resulting CH90-Cu(NH3)x exhibited remarkably high catalytic activity in the CPO process. The catalyst was comprehensively characterized using SEM, BET, FT-IR, and XPS to analyze its surface morphology, specific surface area, elemental composition, and chemical structure. The catalytic oxidation performance of CH90-Cu(NH3)x was systematically evaluated by optimizing key parameters, including initial pH, catalyst dosage, H2O2 dosage, and salt content. Moreover, catalytic mechanism investigations revealed that hydroxyl radicals play a dominant role in the degradation process, while superoxide radicals act as a secondary active species. Additionally, the catalyst demonstrated excellent reusability, highlighting its strong potential for practical environmental applications. The successful construction of copper-ammonia complexes on a resin matrix offers valuable insights for developing novel and efficient catalysts for other Fenton-like systems.
