Аннотация
Bacterial cellulose has been widely used as a raw material in the manufacture of medical wound dressings. However, its lack of inherent antibacterial properties and the susceptibility of its porous three-dimensional structure to bacterial colonization necessitate the adjunctive use of antimicrobial agents. Furthermore, the singular antibacterial function of the material falls short of meeting the multifunctional requirements of modern medical dressings. In response to these challenges, we have engineered a bacterial cellulose membrane imbued with rapid photothermal sterilization and pH fluorescence sensitivity capabilities. This innovation entails the self-assembly of pH-sensitive fluorescent benzimidazoles and infrared photothermal Fe3O4-benzimidazoles onto bacterial cellulose to create a fiber membrane. Upon illumination with light at 330 nm under varying pH conditions, the wetted fiber film emits light at 450 nm with intensity corresponding to each pH level, facilitating precise pH monitoring. Additionally, this fibrous membrane exhibits impressive rapid photothermal sterilization capabilities through near-infrared 808 nm photoinitiated self-heating. By harnessing these combined advantages, this fibrous membrane holds immense promise in the realm of biomedical dressing development. It enables both wound pH monitoring and swift photothermal sterilization, thereby augmenting the efficacy and versatility of medical dressings for enhanced patient care.
