Аннотация

As urban development shifts toward quality-oriented regeneration, evaluating human-environment interactions is critical for sustainable urban management. This study develops a comprehensive physical-physiological-psychological framework to assess micro-urban regeneration in high-density residential contexts. Through the integration with eye-tracking and questionnaire-based evaluations, a highly significant hierarchy of visual salience was identified: Facilities > Vegetation > Buildings > Roads. Although electroencephalography (EEG)-derived measures did not exhibit statistically significant differences across landscape categories, their descriptive numerical variations are reported strictly as exploratory indicators. Correlation analysis reveals visual attention corresponds to positive appraisal only for facilities, while prolonged fixation at aging buildings is associated with a negative trend in subjective satisfaction. Furthermore, the integration of neurophysiological and psychometric data reveals the restorative capacity of vegetation and the high cognitive load associated with degraded built interfaces, while the non-significant neurophysiological results offer critical methodological insights into the complexities of mobile EEG application within micro-urban renewal contexts. The study concludes that sustainable environmental management in urban renewal should prioritize high-quality facilities and the strategic implementation of scattered, high-frequency micro-greenery. Ultimately, this multimodal approach provides an evidence-based paradigm for urban designers and managers to better balance aesthetic quality and neurophysiological well-being in the built environment, fostering long-term urban resilience.
