Аннотация
The CS carbon of thiodibenzosuberenone, a molecule formed when the two aromatic rings of thiobenzophenone are connected at the ortho positions by the CC unit, undergoes muonium addition alongside the dominant S-muoniation pathway. The previously unreported carbon-addition product, yielding an S-centred thiyl radical, is identified by muon level-crossing resonance (µLCR) and supported by non-empirical calculations, including the muon isotope effect.
