Аннотация
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is prevalent among military veterans and active-duty service members, but access to mental health is limited. Studies have shown that mobile health applications are well-positioned to mitigate the barriers and assist in the self-management of post-traumatic stress symptoms (PTSS) while improving access to care. PTSD Coach, a VA-DoD-approved mobile mental health application, had empirical evidence in reducing PTSS. PTSD Coach helps patients self-manage to reduce symptoms, improve outcomes, and enhance readiness. PTSD Coach can improve access to care by providing a cognitive behavioral therapy-based tool that is available at any time and place.
