Аннотация
Sexuality and intimacy play a role in the quality of life of many people, including those in palliative care, despite common misconceptions on the subject. Although these people say they would like to discuss these issues with healthcare professionals, this often does not happen. A number of obstacles may explain this lack of discussion and these are explored in this article, along with ways to open a delicate but necessary dialogue.
