Ultrasound Findings of Tibia Adamantinoma: A Case Report With Literature Review.

Adamantinoma is an extremely rare and primary malignant tumor of the bones. We report the case of a 13-year-old female patient presented to our clinic for a mass on the anterior aspect of the tibia. It was thought to be a soft tissue tumor by the clinician, and therefore the patient was referred for sonography of the mass. Ultrasonography findings revealed a destructive tibial defect, and subsequently, a punch biopsy was performed under ultrasound guidance. As far as we know, this is the first detailed description of ultrasound findings in adamantinoma, including initial ultrasonography, biopsy guidance, and follow-up ultrasonography in the available literature.
