Аннотация
Skin tissue engineering offers a promising approach to improving wound healing outcomes, with polymeric scaffolds playing a critical role in guiding tissue regeneration and minimizing scar formation. This review summarizes recent advancements in polymeric scaffold design for skin tissue engineering, specifically emphasizing strategies that promote functional regeneration rather than fibrotic repair. Key aspects discussed include scaffold architecture, polymer selection, and fabrication techniques that influence cellular behavior, extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition, and mechanical integration with the host tissue. The review highlights how natural, synthetic, and composite polymer systems can be engineered to modulate inflammation, support cell adhesion and differentiation, and facilitate organized tissue remodeling. Translational considerations are examined, including cell-seeding approaches and the role of cellular self-organization in supporting the regeneration of skin appendages and restoring the native tissue architecture. Currently available skin substitutes are critically evaluated, revealing persistent limitations in achieving a scar-free healing. Emerging fabrication technologies, particularly three-dimensional printing, electrospinning, and artificial intelligence-guided design, are all discussed for their potential to enhance scaffold precision and regenerative performance. Overall, this review underscores the importance of continued innovation in polymer chemistry, materials engineering, and bioprinting to enable the development of next-generation skin scaffolds that support scar-free skin regeneration.
