[Research Progress on Indicators of Red Blood Cell Storage Lesions--Review].
Аннотация
Red blood cell (RBC) transfusion is primarily utilized for the treatment of anemia resulting from various causes, and the quality of stored RBCs (sRBCs) is crucial to the efficacy of transfusion therapy. As storage duration increases, the quality of sRBCs undergoes continuous changes, rendering research on RBC storage lesion highly significant. This article reviews recent advancements in sRBC quality management, encompassing biochemical metabolic markers, RBC deformability assessment, spectral analysis, and the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Novel biochemical metabolic indicators, such as free hemoglobin and non-coding RNAs, can be employed to assess the quality of sRBCs. Spectral technology, as a non-invasive approach, demonstrates considerable potential in sRBC quality management. Additionally, the application of AI tools has enhanced the precision and efficiency of sRBC quality management. These studies provide a scientific basis for improving sRBC storage and quality management.
