Аннотация
I agree with Haueis and Colaço that integrating metabolic considerations into cognitive modeling is important, given evolution by natural selection. However, I question their exclusive focus on neurocentric models, arguing that ecological models of neural function in embodied, situated contexts should be added to the space of possible models and that extraneural metabolic factors are important to consider as well.
