Аннотация
Male breast cancer (BC) accounts for approximately 1% of all BC cases. Complete decongestive therapy remains the standard of care for lymphedema management. However, the application of supermicrosurgical lymphovenous anastomosis is increasingly being adopted. This report describes an uncommon case of BC-related lymphedema in a male patient following chemotherapy for invasive carcinoma with axillary lymph node metastasis. Multiple lymphovenous anastomoses were performed, and the patient exhibited significant improvement in postoperative limb edema and a marked enhancement in quality of life. At the 6-month postoperative follow-up, the patient expressed high satisfaction with the treatment outcome. Increased awareness and implementation of screening protocols for male breast carcinoma are warranted.
