[Clinical experience of acupuncture and moxibustion for treatment of chronic cholecystitis].

OBJECTIVE

To sum up clinical experience of acupuncture and moxibustion for treatment of chronic cholecystitis and study on the factors of influencing the therapeutic effect of acupuncture and moxibustion treating chronic cholecystitis.

METHODS

The factors of influencing the therapeutic effect were summarized from the indications of acupuncture and moxibustion, meridians, acupoint selection, selection of needling and moxibustion methods, time law of attack, treating the principal aspects and the secondary aspects of a disease, arrival of qi, combined treatment of acupuncture and medicine, lasting time and frequency of treatment, assessment of therapeutic effects, and so on.

CONCLUSION

Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of chronic cholecystitis fully reflects the characteristics and complex nature of the acup-moxibustion therapy. Only when concretely analyze practical condition of the patient and adopt acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, can good therapeutic effect be achieved.
