Clinical examination includes extraoral and intraoral assessment, functional examination, radiographic examination, and model analysis, carefully considering tooth position, symmetry, occlusion, and growth. Digital tools can support this work but never replace the professional responsibilities of the orthodontist. Orthodontic diagnosis requires an integrated approach, necessitating multidisciplinary collaboration in complex cases to achieve safe and effective treatment outcomes.
