Аннотация
Nerve injury repair and neuropathic pain represent prevalent clinical conditions that significantly diminish patient quality of life, with current therapeutic options remaining limited. Emerging evidence indicates that adipokines, beyond their well-established functions in energy metabolism and immune regulation, are deeply involved in neural regeneration and repair processes, as well as in the generation and maintenance of pain signals. This review synthesizes recent advances in understanding the role of adipokines in peripheral nerve repair and chronic pain modulation, with the goal of informing the development of novel nerve repair strategies and analgesic approaches targeting adipokines.
