Аннотация
Excellence in clinical care requires continuous development, evaluation, and revision of feedback strategies that can support quality. Deploying measures to recognize and incentivize quality is a critical strategy for improving pneumonia care. The focus and types of measures driving implementation should evolve: as new evidence emerges and care delivery changes, measures must also change. Emerging strategies for quality improvement, such as refined definitions of quality and measure-ventions embedded as decision support tools, may also enable more effective, timely, and actionable support for clinicians.
