Аннотация
Thorough history-taking and clinical examination play a key role in identifying the causes of chest pain. We present a case of a middle-aged male who presented with acute-onset right-sided chest pain and localised swelling over the right chest wall for 1 week. On detailed examination and based on his clinical-radiological profile, he was diagnosed with Mondor's disease involving the subcutaneous veins of the right chest wall. Mondor's disease is a rare and self-limiting condition characterised by superficial sclerosing thrombophlebitis. Awareness of this condition can help reduce the patient's anxiety and prevent unwarranted investigations.
