Аннотация
A straightforward and scalable synthetic route to multisubstituted fluorenyl phenones has been developed via a metal-free [4 + 2] benzannulation of 2-(inden-1-ylidene)-malononitrile with ynones under mild conditions. This protocol provides direct and modular access to multisubstituted o-aminofluorenyl phenones and fluorene[b]pyridines with excellent functional group tolerance and a broad substrate scope.
