Аннотация
The majority of investigators claim that the cause of vagotomic tachycardia is switching off the vagus nerve inhibitory tone, according to other authors the sympathetic nervous system stimulation is responsible for it. The second hypothesis is confirmed by the fact that vagotomic tachycardia is arrested by surgical desympathization in animals. Our data confirm this statement. We have ascertained that vagotomic tachycardia may be decreased by a surgical intervention without desympathization in animals. Artificial lung ventilation exerts the same effect on vagotomic tachycardia. Vagus tone depends on animal species, sex, and individual features.
